Most family practices send you to a surgeon you have never met. We take a scan, show you what we are looking at, and if they need to come out we do it in our own surgical suite.
In pain now? Call (519) 885-7272 Waterloo or (519) 624-8880 Cambridge
Tell us where you are at and we will call you back to arrange a scan and assessment.
We have your details and someone from the clinic will call you shortly to arrange a time.
Wisdom teeth usually appear between seventeen and twenty five. Dealt with early it is a planned appointment. Left alone it often becomes an urgent one.
Wisdom teeth are an extra set of molars we no longer need. They can push against the teeth in front of them as they come through.
A partly erupted wisdom tooth is difficult to keep clean, which is why they often flare up suddenly rather than gradually.
Some are perfectly fine where they are. That is what the scan is for. We will tell you if the answer is to leave them alone.
We image the area and look at the position of the teeth and the roots, then show you the scan and explain what we are seeing.
Whether they need to come out now, whether we watch them, and what is involved either way. You get the cost in writing first.
If removal is the right call, it happens here with the team you have already met, and we talk you through the recovery beforehand.
Not necessarily. It depends on their position and what the scan shows. We will go through the options with you.
Wisdom teeth typically come through between seventeen and twenty five. Many people deal with them in that window because it can be planned rather than handled as an emergency.
No. Assessment and removal both happen at our own clinic, with our own team.
For all treatment pricing we follow the provincial dental fee guide used by all dental practices in Ontario. You get an estimate in writing before anything is booked, and we direct bill insurance and accept CDCP.
Call us. We keep same day emergency appointments at both clinics for exactly this.
Assessment, imaging and removal all happen at our clinic. No referral to a surgeon you have never met, and no starting the story again with somebody new.
Assessment and removal are carried out by our own dentists. Oral surgery is part of what this team does week in and week out, so you are not sent elsewhere for it.
